How to support indie games and apps before they launch

You do not have to be a venture investor to help a digital project move forward. Sharing a project, offering useful feedback or contributing to a fundraiser can all matter. The important part is understanding what is being built, what is already available and what your support does—and does not—promise.

Start with evidence, not just an idea

Before supporting a studio, visit its project pages. Look for named products, clear descriptions and an honest distinction between released work and work in development. A striking image can introduce a game, but it is not a playable demo or evidence of a release date.

Our portfolio includes web products such as Sarah AI Therapist, LoverCompass and The Rich Library, alongside Neon Hop on Android. Room 17 and Last Seen Online are PC horror games still in development. We keep their project pages separate so you can understand each project rather than treating the whole portfolio as one finished product.

Choose the kind of support that suits you

A useful contribution can be more than money. A thoughtful introduction, a shared project page or specific feedback can help a small team reach people who care about its work. If you are giving feedback, explain what you tried, what you expected and where the experience was unclear.

  • Share a direct project link with someone who would genuinely be interested.
  • Try released products and send constructive feedback through our contact page.
  • Read the Crowdfunder campaign before choosing a contribution or reward.
  • If you represent a business or investment partner, contact us for a separate conversation.

Read the campaign before contributing

The campaign page is the place to check the current fundraising information and any available reward terms. Do not assume that a contribution buys shares, guarantees a finished product or includes a particular reward unless the campaign explicitly says so. Development can change, and early-stage projects carry uncertainty.

Our Crowdfunder gives people a way to support the Schatz & Schatz initiative and its projects. Supporters who want to can be included in our projects’ Special Thanks. Recognition is optional: after donating, let us know the name you would like displayed through our contact page. Check the campaign itself for other rewards and their conditions.

Make support deliberate, not pressured

Choose a contribution you are comfortable making and keep the campaign confirmation. If anything is unclear, ask before paying. You can also support the team simply by following its public project updates or telling a friend about a product that fits their needs.

We welcome supporters, potential partners and customers, but those are different relationships. A donation is not an investment agreement. If your interest is commercial, use the investment or hire pages so the conversation starts in the right place.
